GET MARRIED IN EMILIA ROMAGNA AND LE MARCHE: THE TWO REGIONS OF ITALY THAT YOU DON'T EXPECT
Some might think that, in this delicate period, so uncertain due to Covid-19, talking about marriage could be out of place or even frivolous. However, as a good Planner, I don't stop, I don't give up. I don't get knocked down. I am aware of what is happening, but I am also sure that we will find the solution, that we will return to live as before, that couples will continue to get married in my Romagna, my adopted land and in the Marche, so close that I consider them almost a single Region . And I continue to plan, organize, coordinate ... and dream ...
Like when I was little .. dreaming of summer by the sea, having fun .. the love of life ... at a wedding on the beach ... or in a fairytale castle ... or, again, in a historic home. ..
Maybe Romagna or Marche, at the time, weren't exactly in my dreams (because I lived in Rome and I had never visited them!), But I certainly had in mind where and how I wanted to celebrate my wedding: in a place in dear to me and full of meaning, which everyone would remember for its beauty and welcoming, refined, elegant, yet informal atmosphere. For good food, the breathtaking landscape, the energy of music and many, many laughs.
It then happened that I found all these things here, where I moved 9 years ago and where, without thinking about it for a minute more, I got married.
Only those who live and those who habitually frequent these areas can understand the essence of these places and that is why today I would like, for all those who do not know these regions, to give you some good reasons to get married in Romagna and Marche.
1 - RIGHT MIX OF SEA, COUNTRYSIDE AND CITY
The beauty of these places is unmatched. The close proximity of the sea to the hinterland and the cities are a plus not to be underestimated: many people who reach these places for vacation, curiosity or work end up falling madly in love with them (a bit like what happened to me!). Those who decide to get married in Romagna and Marche do so because these Regions enter your heart. And let's face it ... a ceremony in the vineyards, overlooking the sea or with your feet immersed in the sand with the sound of the sea in the background ... are unique experiences of their kind that guests certainly will not forget.
2 - BREATHTAKING LOCATIONS AND LANDSCAPES
A good reason to get married in Romagna or in the Marche is certainly the wide choice of traditional locations, but also alternative and unusual ones. An almost limitless choice: private villas, historic buildings, hotels and relais the charme, castles, farmhouses, luxury b & bs, biodynamic farms, estates and vineyards, theaters, beaches, museums ... should I continue? The choice is truly unmatched.

3 - ELEGANCE, BEAUTY AND SOBRIETY
What I like both about Romagna and the Marche is the possibility of celebrating weddings in locations that allow for refined and high-level beauty settings: in recent years, in fact, the increasingly widespread trend is to choose a "clean" and essential, the minimal chic style (have you read my post about this style? I love it!). Weddings celebrated outdoors, perhaps in private estates or villas, with simple objects, wild flowers, soft lights, always warm and welcoming here is always possible. And this also allows the guests to experience this atmosphere and have fun in an elegant but never excessive way.
4 - GOOD FOOD, HOSPITALITY AND WELCOME PEOPLE
What can I say ... whether you are Italian or foreign I do not think it is possible to deny that Romagna and Marche are 2 of the best Italian regions in terms of food, tourism and holidays. And organizing the reception in these lands will be very easy because there are plenty of locations with internal catering as well as Catering & Banqueting able to design unique experiences and settings. Furthermore, many choose these regions also to allow their guests to enjoy a few days of relaxation in these territories, both before and after the wedding. Not a bad idea!

5 - BECAUSE LOVE IS BORN HERE
Many couples know each other here: summer is the season in which, traditionally, teenagers and young university students spend their holidays on the Riviera Romagnola. And, it is no coincidence that the Marche is the land of Paolo and Francesca, the two young lovers of the 13th century. Beach parties, sunsets over the sea (in Cattolica yes !!) or in the countryside, the countless outdoor activities are the beginning of falling in love, flirting that, if it gives me so much, are transformed into true love and then in marriage.
